I just got a small pup with roots from a friend but the top part had some rotted roots so I was just washing it off carefully, but the bottom healthy roots came off with a slight tap! Then my mom repotted it into fresh soil and gave it some more light and it just exploded with growth (you can see it in the last picture in this article).
